Anna Nguyen is a Vietnamese-Australian illustrator and animator from Sydney. She likes to create fun andquirky artworks with a whimsical and nostalgic vibe.
Anna graduated from UTS with a Bachelor of Design in Animation Honours, during which time, she co-created a film about Cabramatta and Canley Vale with colleagues.
“It was my first time creating media and art from a place that I didn't realize was so important to me and a place that was so integral to my culture,” Anna says. “Creating the film really helped me be more connected with my family and culture, and it has definitely inspired me to create more art about my culture in hopes to make others relate and feel the same way I do. I would love to work towards creating art that resonates with Vietnamese-Australians like me and opens conversations.”
